Game Notes
The game of the week for District 6-6A and along the Treasure Coast. Both teams came in undefeated. Vero Beach came out with the win. The balanced game from Vero showed, 4 players in double figures, and holding Louis Graham to 2 pts. for the entire game. Lakes got out to a 17-10 lead in the 1^st quarter. However, Vero went on an 11-2 run and never looked back. Palm Beach Lakes made a run in the 4 ^th quarter but Graham committed his 5th foul with over 4 minutes left in the game. Tommy Biggoms made it an interesting game shooting less than 50% from the free throw line.

Game Notes
It looked like deja vu for Martin County. The Tiger's first game of the new year looked the last of 2001. They let Tampa Jefferson out score them in the fourth quarter, only for Jefferson to win in overtime. That was the championship of the Martin County Hall of Fame Classic, last week. The same can be said for the Gators this week. They had not led the entire game. However, with 3 minutes left in the 4^th quarter, Gardens took their first lead of the game. Some last second heroics from Justin Rossier's jump shot sealed the game. Actually a complete breakdown of Garden's defense, allowed Rossier's jump shot from the free throw line. A missed travelling call from the officials, with 4.2 seconds left, preserved the one point margin for the Tigers.
