Recruiting News
Oct. 29 PowerBasketball got a chance to attend Winning Ways Rookie Camp this past weekend. Barry Mestel conducted a shooting clinic
between the games and offered some great tips. The camp had over 80 athletes in attendance ranging from 8th grade to 10th grade
levels. Darryl Taylor, a sophomore transfer from Ft. Pierce Central to Port St. Lucie High School, seemed to look the most impressive.
His ability to run the floor, drive to the basket, make the right pass, and a decent medium range jump shot make him a great package. Coach
John Picchiarini will enjoy having the services of this sophomore this season. However, William LeBlanc, a freshman from Brevard Christian, may have displayed the best variety
of skills to considered as the best all around player. The guys from BreakDown were at the camp to evaluate the players.
So, we won't let the cat out of the bag on any other players. We'll leave them to tell you more about the players that attended. They indicated they
would posting their information in the next week or so. Check back for more info!
