The National Prep Basketball Poll is compiled by national high school sports experts Jamie DeMoney and Jeremy Plowman and a panel of sportswriters. The preseason national Top 25 and regional Top 10's follow with last season's won-loss records:

FEATS OF THE WEEK: Los Angeles, Westchester moved into the No. 2 spot nationally after winning gold at the City of Palm Classic in Fort Myers, Fla. The Comets improved its all-time City of Palms record to 14-0 and became the first team to win three Classic titles by defeating Baton Rouge, La., LSU Lab, 70-58, in this year's final . . . Memphis, Tenn., White Station vaulted from No. 14 to No. 7 with its early round performance at the Arby's Classic in Bristol, Tenn. The Spartans hit on a dazzling 16-of-23 three-pointers en route to a 105-55 drubbing of Elizabethtown, Tenn. Guard Courtney Pigram led the way with 34 points in the win . . . No. 4 New York, Rice scored a tournament-record 95 points in drubbing host Binghamton, N.Y., in the semifinals of the STOP-DWI Holiday Classic. More than 2,500 fans at Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena watched the Raiders get the 95-41 win and advance to the tournament final against Philadelphia, Gratz . . .
