| Jim Haley's Annual Rookie Sensations, October 25, 2003 | |
First I would like to thank Coach Haley for another great camp. Coach Haley puts a lot of personal time and effort into this Camp and everyone owes him a
great deal of thanks. Second I would like to thank the Coach's who filled out the player evaluation sheets (The Coach's sheet were the only
thing used to rate the players the scores were calculated up to give the final score). Now I will try to some up the day's events starting
with the 8th graders. Their was a total of eight 8th graders at the camp.
Players were evaluated on a scale of 1(poor) thru 5(excellent) in 6 categories.
(Shooting- Passing - Ball handling - Rebounding - Scoring - Assist's)

In closing I would like to point out that there were some other kids at this camp who played very well and could have easily made this list.
What you need to remember that this is a one day exposure camp that gives you a chance to see some top 8th 9th & 10th Graders in Florida.
So, use this as a learning tool. Then, you can become the best player you can be. Because really, when it all said and done, that's the only person you are competing against is yourself.
