AAU Nationals Report, 15/U Division
and then there was One...
Pool play left the Miami Ballers and Magic Hoops undefeated and moving into National Bracket. Florida Elite, Coast-to-Coast, and St. John's
finished 2-1 in pool play. The Center All Stars and the Lee Bulls finished 1-2 and will compete in the Classic Bracket.
Magic Hoops is the lone Florida team left standing for round three to compete in the National bracket with victories in the 1st round over the Memphis Elite, 64-53 and a second round victory. Their
round three opponent is scheduled to be Houston Hoops.
Another favorite, the Miami Ballers, were put out in the 1st round, 71-50. A good showing from Coast-to-Coast came up short with a 56-55 loss to the
Greenville Tarheels. St. John's gave a good fight in their 68-61 loss. Florida Elite suffered a loss, 62-54. These teams will have to fight back in
the contention rounds to keep Florida looking good.
The Lee Bulls and the Center All Stars each won their 1st round games in the Classic bracket.
