Jim Haley's Adidas Rookie Sensations.
posted 10/20/2004 11:05:46 PM.

Adidas Rookie Sensations Camp will be held on Saturday, October 23rd at Santa Fe Community College in Gainesville. The camp enters its 12th year inviting the top 8th; 9th; and 10th graders in Florida to compete in head to head competition. Players are to report to SFCC between 8:30-9:30am for registration. The $45 fee includes 3 games; lunch; insurance; and camp game shirt. Players are asked to bring shoes & shorts. The games begin at 11am with a slam dunk contest packaged in between. A top 20 allstar game will be played at 5:30pm. Over 160 players from as far away as Panama City to deep South Florida applied with 80 players being selected from 50 different schools. 34 Freshmen will show their talents mixed in with a few 8th graders and a talent-laden Sophomore crop.

Coaches: If any players listed can't make the event... please notify us immediately at kingdomusa@hotmail.com

A report will be sent to various internet & national scouting services approximately 1 week following the camp. The "future of the sunshine state" will have some sleepers that will step forward in the competition. It was very hard narrowing down from 160 to 80 but we tried to select with talent & size and feel this is the best we could do.
